DATA DICTIONARY:

  • PHEV: Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle - A vehicle that combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor and a rechargeable battery. PHEVs can drive short distances using only electric power and switch to gasoline when the battery is depleted, offering greater range than fully electric vehicles.

  • BEV: Battery Electric Vehicle - A fully electric vehicle powered exclusively by a rechargeable battery, with no gasoline engine.

  • MSRP: Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price - The recommended selling price set by the vehicle’s manufacturer.
